Last updated: July 7th, 2026
Introduction
International Conservation Fund (“ICF,” “we,” “us”) is a U.S.-based, volunteer-run 501(c)(3) charity located at 41 Beacon Street, Boston, MA 02108. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, how we protect it, and what rights you have over it.
Information We Collect
Information you provide directly
When you visit our website, donate, subscribe to our newsletter, or contact us, you may provide personal information such as your name, email address, postal address, and phone number.
When you donate to ICF
We use Little Green Light, a third-party donor management platform, to process donations (in USD only) and store donor contact and giving information, accessed through our Little Green Light account. Little Green Light’s own practices are described in their Privacy Policy.
We retain donation and financial records for at least three (3) years, consistent with Massachusetts recordkeeping requirements applicable to our organization. If you’d like your non-financial contact data corrected or deleted sooner, contact us via our contact form and we’ll act on your request, subject to records we’re legally required to retain.
Newsletter subscription
If you subscribe, we collect your email address and use Mailchimp to send updates. Your email is processed per Mailchimp’s Privacy Policy. We retain it for as long as you remain subscribed; unsubscribe anytime via the link in any email or by contacting us.
Contact form
Information submitted (name, email, message) is used solely to respond to your inquiry, retained only as long as needed to do so, and not shared with third parties except as required by law.
Information collected automatically
We automatically collect limited technical information (IP address, browser type, operating system, referral URL) for website security and stability, retained only as long as needed for that purpose, and not used for behavioral tracking or advertising.
